Each year, we celebrate Administrative Professionals Day to recognize the valuable contributions of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals.
Ambassador Lisa Peterson hosted a cocktail reception to honor administrative professionals from government and private sector for their work in running day-to-day operations in their organizations. Invited guests included U.S. Embassy contacts that are part of the Personal Assistant Professional Network and their supervisors. This network, launched by the U.S. Embassy, provides an array of benefits, from sharing best practices that assist with overall office productivity to creating opportunities for partnerships, providing access to trusted resources, and enhancing professional growth.
Speaking on behalf of the administrative professionals, Busie Hlongwane from Swaziland Sugar Association thanked the Ambassador for recognizing their importance and professional work they do on a daily basis.
